He awoke to darkness, and pain. His head felt like someone had taken a 2x4 to it. Groaning softly, he brought a hand up to hold his aching head, only to encounter something wet and cold. It felt good. The cold, wet thing shifted up a little, revealing an inquisitive pair of blue-grey eyes.   
"So, the prince awakens at last," Cinzento said, half-smiling. "I would have thought that you would've recovered long ago."   
Sheila scowled, then winced and held his head again. "Ow..." he whimpered weakly.

"Gah!" Sheila grunted, for perhaps the 13th time that hour.  "How on Earth does she keep up with all of this?!"  He tossed the manila folder marked "47-82X" across the desk, which caused the rather precarious stack of similar reports to teeter dangerously close to crashing.  Oh how he wished he were back out in the field!

Something fun and exciting (for a change)

I've been cast in a fun little project being done through Youtube. This person has combined computer game footage from Final Fantasy 7 with clips from Advent Children, Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus in order to made a visually pleasing piece. She did this in her own spare time, and has been advertising for voice actors to add to it. She's asked me to contribute to the project by voicing Scarlet. ^-^ Which of course I instantly said YES to!

This is all part of her FF-themed birthday she'll be having in October, to help introduce her non-FF-savvy friends to the franchise. And afterwards, I'll be getting my own free DVD copy (as she can't sell it for copyright reasons). Talk about sweet!

I just hope I don't screw it up and do really crappy. ^^;; Now, I know the deadline is rather relaxed (Sept 30), but there's no telling how busy I could get soon, should I actually find a real, paying job in the meantime. So I'm sort of hoping to both get this done soon, and also hoping to end up being pressed for time due to having a job.
